Jade Latham

Nurse Manager
DipAccounting; BSc (Nursing) Edith Cowan University

Jade’s journey in healthcare began in the remote Aboriginal communities of the Northern Territory, where she gained invaluable experience before moving through diverse industries including mining administration, dental nursing, aviation security, and ambulance services. Her broad background is complemented by a Diploma of Accounting and an ongoing commitment to professional development with multiple certifications.

Her early volunteering with St John Ambulance sparked a passion for Paramedicine, where she excelled and was recognised as Rookie of the Year in the Northern Territory. Relocating to Perth to further her studies, Jade expanded her expertise and went on to complete a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Edith Cowan University.

Since joining Spectrum Health in 2020 as a Graduate Registered Nurse, Jade has progressed rapidly from Float Nurse to Nurse Assistant Manager and now into Nurse Manager role. In her current role, she leads a team of nurses across the Spectrum Health group, driving quality improvement initiatives, overseeing training programs, and coordinating practice visits, physician inductions, and nurse education sessions. She also manages medical equipment and maintains her clinical skills through regular clinic shifts.

Passionate about primary healthcare and preventative health, Jade strongly advocates for proactive patient care to help reduce hospitalisations. She shares this enthusiasm by mentoring fellow nurses and supporting community wellness initiatives.

Outside of work, Jade enjoys her role as a wife and mother, cherishing weekends spent with family and friends.
